After years of planning and executing the restoration of an almost forgotten farmstead, the Vrlovčnik Estate offers a secluded place for a retreat in pristine nature of the Slovenian Alps, telling a story of the lives of people that once inhabited it. Located in the valley of Matkov kot—home to just five standalone homesteads—the estate invites you to experience a life deeply connected to the land.
Blending the rugged beauty of the Alps within the old wood- and stone-build houses, fresh-water pool, and the surrounding mountains, it offers us a forgotten way of life.
